Corvallis wins the 2023 Missoula Fall Scholastic Chess Tournament! Corvallis was represented by Sage Fisher who tied for 2nd in the Jr division (1-5). Aden Fisher & Sebastian Cardullo finished in a 3-way tie for 1st, Varsity division (9-12). Congrats, we are so proud of you!
CHS Speech Team hosted an Invitational Tournament today. This was the first meet of the Speech season! We are very excited to watch these students continue to excel! Our Blue Devil Team placed 3rd in Drama, Fiona Fay- 1st in Extemp, Ella Child- 8th in Oratory, David Ponce- 8th in Impromptu and 5th in Extemporaneous, Rylan Gladden- 7th in Impromptu, Emmy Jessop- 1st in Mime, Jasmine Webber & Izzy Williams- 5th in Duo Interp, Robin & Gabe Stroud- 7th in Duo Interp & Gabe Stroud - 8th in Humorous Interp. Tournament Director and Head Coach Doug McConnaha thanks the hundreds of community members who gave of their time and expertise to judge.
