I continued to encourage joint messaging in crisis situations with the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Department. The team did an amazing job, as well as the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Department, and continued joint training will occur in the future.

DISTRICT BUDGET BOOKLET FINALIZED FOR PRINTING – Our budget booklet was published today. The purpose of the budget information booklet is to give our Blue Devil community access to our district finances, increase transparency, and encourage stakeholder participation in making Corvallis Schools the best place to work and learn.

BOARD REPORTS – Each month all cabinet members (Administration, Supervisors, and myself) write a monthly report. The reports tie back to our 5 Year District Strategic Plan and communicate to our school board and community how we are reaching those goals.

BOARD AGENDA - We work hard in the Central Office to have the draft agenda ready to go well before the scheduled school board meeting. I devote time the week before these meetings in order to gather information (whether it be data, budget information, legal guidance, and more) so board members have as much information as possible to make decisions based on what is best for students.

NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS – Read and recorded using Google Slides and Screencastify, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Then using Thrillshare, I scheduled the event to post and be read tonight at 7:00 PM (while I am at church).
